START YOUR OWN EUROPEAN BOOK CLUB
The New York European Book Club is a collaborative project of 7 European cultural institutions to promote readership of each country's literature in English translation.
This program has encountered a huge success with European literature aficionados all around the United States. From the moment we announced its creation in 2008, we have received hundreds of emails and calls from people interested in participating or in learning more about recently translated books from Europe.
We encourage public libraries and European cultural institutes to join us and start a book club of their own in your own city.

- Our bibliographies of recently translated novels from 7 European countries (Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland) established by staff members of the institutes, who have an expert knowledge in the literature of their respective country.
